Tarantula..

Ok so this was on MSN home page and I had to watch it. As you know or may not know...I have a pet Tarantula, so of course this amazes me...even though I already knew what the women explains about the spider. Homer...the name Ant has named our trantula...is very friendly. We have had several people hold her (yes we found out it was female...after we named her...she is our drag queen) at different times and sure enough...she is really nice about it. So watch the video below and if you want to hold our spider after watching it....come over sometime and we will let you. WARNING!!! if you absolutely HATE spiders don't watch this.

Sarcasm

I love sarcasm. It really should be my middle name....the best, is the way that Wikipedia explains what sarcasm is......

Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter jibe or tuant."

I am not so sure about the bitter part but I love the "cutting expression...tuant" part. Now what part of that is not me? How can that not be my middle name? Do you think if I went to Social Security and told them to change my name to Lindsey Sarcasm Burrows, they would let me? I am sure they would as long as I paid them....besides a lot of people do anything for a buck this days. I clean my parents house just so I can have a little extra cash here and there.

Work load...

Now that my work load has doubled at my work...I actually look forward to the weekends. But I am actually enjoying work little more, cause I always believe the more busy you are the faster your day goes...and as you can imagine...my days go by A LOT faster now. It is nice...for now. Who knows what next week will bring. ha ha HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE! :)

GOOOO USA!!!

Thank you Landon Donovan for making my day start out to a great one. That was an amazing goal. You have made us all proud.

That is a picture of Tracey Wilson and I at the MLS All Star game last year. Everyone says Team Jacob, or Team Edward but that day I was Team Landon. :) ha ha

Is it sad when.....

it is only Tuesday and you are already looking forward to the weekend? ha ha Tonight our friends from Seattle were suppose to come and stay with us, but I just got a text from Ant telling me that they are coming tomorrow night instead. Which is nice cause I am so tired today, I wasn't looking forward to entertaining guests. Tomorrow will be better. :) So I am looking forward to going home...going to Zumba...cooking some dinner...then doing nothing! :) Maybe I can convince Ant to take me to ice cream tonight. ;)

GO Ben Spies......

Yesterday was one of the most amazing races (to me) I have ever seen of MotorGP. Most likely cause Ben Spies was doing so amazing. So was Nicky Hayden, but it all came down to the last couple of laps of the race. Lorenzo was WAYYYY ahead in first then it was a battle from there. Ben was in 5th just behind Nicky then Nicky passed up the guy in 4th to be in 3rd, then Ben passed up the guy in 4th to be in 4th...then Ben passed Nicky on the last half of the last lap which made him come in 3rd place for the first time in GP!!! Oh man it was so intense...I was screaming at the top of my lungs! Poor Ant...he kept telling me to stop yelling...but I couldn't help it....it was amazing to see him do so good his first year of GP. GOOOOO BEN SPIES!!!

P.S. I also had broken my weekend record...I rode 560 miles in two days! :) You could say I was a little exhausted on Sunday night! :) I love my bike!!!

Off to the Brit. bike club meeting....

I love the 3rd Thursday of the month. It means that we off to the Brittsh Bike Club meeting. I love going and hang out with everyone talking about old bikes, and all the adventures that they have been on. One guy that is member...Joe Cash...he has an incredible collection of bikes, and he has also riden with Steven McQueen before!!! Can you imagine that??? I love Steve McQueen. I would have died and gone to heaven if that would have happened to me. Lucky Joe.

Crazy week....

I am so excited for Sunday...it will be the first day this week that I don't have ANYTHING going. The only thing I have PLANNED is a motorcycle ride.
Every night this week there is something going on. Tonight is Bunco, tomorrow night is Brittsh Bike Club, Friday is my family reunion (that is going on all weekend long) Saturday I have bridal shower in Idaho, and Saturday night back to the reunion. But I am kind of glad I am busy this week. I have a lot on my mind, and it helps to have these things going so that I can clear my mind of those things that are non stop in my head (hopefully that makes sense). Every night before I go to bed, I have to make sure I am completely exhausted...cause if I am not...then my mind starts thinking and I can't sleep.

Although last night I had a great night. My friend Casey (who I ride motorcycles with) invited me to go up and hang out with his wife and him after him and I went for a ride. So after our ride I went up and hung out. Aarron from the dealership stopped by, then his wife got home from picking up Erin (a girl from Colorado) from the airport, and then we all went out to the Fiddlers Elbow. It was so much fun just hanging out not having to worry about anything (other than I wanted Ant to be there to enjoy it with me but he had some stuff to do). It was cool ride on the way home...the sky had some lighting here and there and at one time the sky was purple when the lighting struck.

Lynell's Wedding...

Last weekend Ant and I both drove down to St. George to attend a wedding. Stephan and Lynell have been together since the day before our wedding..so anytime our Aniv. is coming up we know theirs is too. Both them did attend our wedding in Vegas as well. There wedding was up Zion Canyon at the Zion Canyon Inn. It was great place to have a wedding...untill right after they said "I do" it started to rain. Good thing the whole thing, other than the wedding was planned inside....well they did plan on taking pictures outside...so that did change as well. But it was a great and small wedding. She absolutely looked beautiful...I started to cry...it was such a great moment for the two of them....and me...it was great to see the two of them so happy..to see HER so happy. I have known Lynell for 11 years now and I have seen that girl have her heart broken...happy...and broken again. It is great to see her with someone that takes good care of her and makes her happy as she is. They are absolutely adorable together.

I must say I am sorry...

I am so sorry that I have not been keeping my blog updated for the last couple of days. My work has been crazy. They let someone go, so my work load has just doubled. So you can say I am a little stressed out this week....but my trick is not to show it at work. ;) Ant knows how stressed out I really am...poor guy...he really is getting the grunt of it. I love him for it though...he is helping me out more than he knows it. Well I need to get back to work...so I will get on later tonight or tomorrow and update on what is going on.

My weekend...

This weekend we have Anthony's racing team mate staying with us. Dave and His wife are coming down from Seattle to stay with us for a couple of days, then he is taking Anthony's race bike to a race in case his breaks down. He wants to win the full championship, so he is going to every race that AHRMA is putting on. I think so far he is in first place. :) I think they are staying with us till Monday morning too. Dave owns the Rockett 3 (Triumph of course) and I know he takes with him to the races, so I am hoping that on Sunday they will be keen for a ride. :)

Craving cured.....

Today for lunch I had a peanut butter and banana sandy. I was craving it, and I knew I needed to go to the store after work. So I thought...why don't I run to the store now and that way I can have my sandy and get my shopping done. So I did....and I think the last time I ate one of those was when I was in Jr. High School....but man it was so good. I think I might have another one tomorrow. :) Thanks Taylor for reminding me how much I loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches. :)

Good news to come....SBK weekend

Last weekend at the World Super Bike races (which by the way was one of the most amazing weekends EVER) Ant had something happened to him that is just...AMAZING!!! He told me not to blog about it untill he has personally sent out emails or called the people he wants to tell in person. So once he has done that...then I can tell you my GREAT news as well.

Anywho I had a great weekend. I met some riders and got to hang out with them as well. Here...let me post some pictures for you to look at.....

(left to right) John Hopkins, Jason DiSalvo, Noriyuki Haga, and Roger Lee Hayden

James Toseland, Troy Corser, Leon Haslam, Melissa Paris, and her hubby Josh Hayes (as you recall I met Josh last month, so it was good to catch up with him again. He even remember Anthony and asked about how his racing went at Willow...see he really is a nice guy).

Max Biaggi (the big winner of the weekend), Jonathan Rea, and Chris "Teach" McNeil.
I thought I took a picture of Chris Pfeiffer and I but I didn't. :( Him and Chris "Teach" are the stunt riders for BMW and I got to hang out with them quite a bit. They were both nice people too.

Also I got a free set of race tires from Melissa Paris' crew chief. Him and I were talking for a while and he asked me what I rode. When I told him the Daytona 675, he said I have some tires if you want them. Melissa only used the set a couple of laps and wanted to switch them out with a different tire. So I told him that I would take them...then he told me that when I start doing track days or decide to race he will help me tune up my bike. I was like really??? WOW thank you that would be awesome. I am going to have to send him a thank you card sometime soon.

I have so many stories about the weekend...I wish I could share them all but this is a long blog as it is. So maybe later next week when I am not so busy at work I will tell you some more.
